that's not my complete "modlist" lmao. that's just all i bothered writing on cardomain. just so you guys know, not once did anybody say "let's race". i would copy it directly from the forum but the topic was removed beyond my control. let me just give you guys a little info about myself and my car. my car is like a hobby. it is simply a quick grocery getter that i am honored to be the owner of. if you're interested in what's done to my car then here is the "modlist" right down to the shift knob.
Car: 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS. Vehichle has 178502 on the Odometer, but only has 980 miles on the motor and clutch.
Motor: Fully Built 420a
Head: Ported and polished and extrude honed intake manifold, AFX 55mm throttle body, Crane #12 grind cams, Crower Valve springs and retainers, Pep +1mm oversized valves, new valve seals and seats, OBX cam gears, pt cruiser coil, new lash adjusters, NGK V-Power plugs, ported and polished head, decked and 5 angle valve job, by Jackson Cylinder Head. All new copper gaskets on the motor. Also has an EGR blockoff kit.
Block: JE SRP pistons, 8.8:1 c.r. pistions, Eagle H-Beam rods, Je pro seal piston rings, Block bored to .20 over, Arp Head studs, Cometic Headgasket, Clevite 77 series bearings, Melling High volume oil pump, airtex water pump, new timing tensioner, bearings, and timing belt, new oem main studs, new oil pan, tapped for turbo return (do you know what that means?). Has new crank position sensor, oil pressure sending unit, and an AFX underdrive pulley.
My car has new motor mounts and comes with polyurethane motor mount inserts. Has a Greddy Emanage installed and tuned by Performance Motorsports in Pearl, MS. I also have all silicone hoses.
Body: Stock 95-96 GS body kit, with black projector headlights, stock hood, stock spoiler, 17" Exel dynasty rims on the car. Interiror is completely custom (well nothing too fancy. I just painted the car inverse of what you would usually see. I had all gray interior. I left the top gray which would be the parts that are black on some eclipses, and painted the bottom half flat black) I also dyed my carpet black. I also have tokico illiumina struts. I do have quite a few lights on my car. They're not very noticeable until I turn them on though. I've always liked lights since I was a child (Christmas caused that). I'm not one of those idiots that thinks they add hp so don't even go there.
I do have an Arospeed Dual Tip Muffler as well as a Tenzo Mufller but I have a 3A racing full exhaust installed along with Pacesetter 4-1 header and "high flow" cat. Changing to one of my other muffers really wouldn't benefit me so I have them as backups. I also have a Baer big brake dual piston caliper and rotor upgrade. As far as the tranny is concerned, it's just a Spec Stage 3+ clutch kit and I'm really not a tranny guy so as far as what they did to the tranny as far as rebuilding it, idk. I do know that my syncros kept going bad and it doesn't now so they fixed that.
I'm still debating on whether or not I'm going nitrous or turbo with the car. Right now I'm moreso concerned with graduating college and becoming a studio musician part-time and a music producer fulltime. I really don't appreciate people bombarding my youtube page with comments I keep rejecting on my car club dvd premieres. That is not why I set up that account. That account is all about me and my music, so if you would be so kind as to stop bombarding my youtube account as well as our forum I'd greatly appreciate it. As far as the 278WHP goes, it's funny you guys become so bamboozled over something you know nothing about. I guarantee you that of the people on the forum that I get to talk to on a regular basis (red names) know this joke well. When I took my car to the shop I was told the EXACT words "you get this here done buddy you're gonna be putting about 270-278 to the wheels there man." If I ever turbo the thing (which I don't believe I will because I don't want to lose all the time and money I've put into it for it to somehow detinate), then maybe. I'm completely happy with what I have now. I have a friend who has a civic. He's putting out about 600hp. Not whp but just regular hp. Has a NICE setup with his nitrous and turbo. He got it dyno'd and it said 120whp. So he goes around telling people he only has 120 to the wheels and anybody should be able to beat it because "it's just a civic". Needless to say, he doesn't lose much.....he still can't get traction though.....Me on the other hand, I go around saying "hey it's only a 278whp eclipse" who would know? It's faster than some 4g63t's. I'm not trying to waste money on a dyno so there ya go the FULL modlist for the 278WHP eclipse. OH YEAH i forgot, I have an APC shift knob, shift boot, and pedals

So let me get this right, you have no power adders to your car and it has lower compression than stock and you think you increased its power output over 100%?!

INFACT, I can garauntee a stock 420a puts out more power than yours right now for the simple fact your cams and compression are screwing you unless you turbo the car.

That mod list is good for about 150whp MAX. You're not hitting 200whp without at least 12.5:1CR and Crower 3/Crane 22 cams.

the current world record holder for a naturally aspirated 420A is sitting at 204WHP and runs 13's. He has the timeslips and the dyno charts to prove it.

There is NO WAY enough air makes it into your engine to support 278 hp. The highest volumetric efficiency achieved in all of mankind for the naturally aspirated internal combustion engine still couldnt pull off that much power with your displacement at the rpms you can reach(sub8.5k).

Well that changes everything. So your saying you dont have 278whp but your challenging people to races? Thats the indescrepency. So what are all the banners for on your windshield? Are they just for others that know what it means?
This makes no sense. If your trying to run an organization in the public eye you ussually try to communicate in a way they can understand.

yes, the members of ecc are all in on this joke unless they are very new to the site, at which point will eventually ask me "how'd you get that much hp out of your 420a?" and they will be told. i will accept any racing challenges because i know the car is quick. it may not be just flatout FAST but it is indeed quick and it's quick enough to suprise ALOT of people. i just think it's ashamed that i get bashed because someone would rather look at my sig and see "278whp" and automatically start bashing the guy other than asking about it. if you come to me the correct and polite way, i will always return the favor. if a guy on the street says he saw my car on the internet and he wants to know about the 278 i would fill him in just as easily. now to clear this up, there are only 2 people with hp in their sig. and that's me and this guy "HazyViewz" the president of the PA chapter. He actually does have 402WHP in his GST and he has the dyno sheets to prove it. other than that as far as the comment that was made about "all of us having over 200 in our sig" that was a flatout lie and those of you who were banned from the top and can't see anything, you were decieved.
